TerraCycle aims to expand its manufacturing operations to an offshore location "China," to reduce costs and maintain production, and attract more customers. However, challenges arise in aligning this expansion with their mission, values, sustainability principles and their green reputation. On the other hand, potential human/social impacts, as well as environmental, are concerning factors that could cause people to question the decision to move Terra Cycle operations (Phillips & Phillips, 2016).
