Go to Google Scholar. Below the search bar, choose "Legal Documents". You can then search a topic of your choice (ex. "cats"). The results will be cases that involve or have the word you searched for. On the left hand side you are able to select which court the cases come from (ex. Federal or a specific state).

Questions:

1. Name the two parties, what court it is in (federal, state, trial, appellate, etc.), the basics of the facts of the case (keep it simple) and describe the appellate process available to the parties (if it is a supreme court case, how did it get there; if it is a trial case, where could the parties go).

At the bottom, please cite your case - proper citation appears at the top of the page when you click on a case from Google Scholar.
