Select a video $($video needs to be at least $8$ minutes long$).$ Watch the video. $$ Do NOT outline the presenter's video, as $12\mathrm{.}9$ asks you to do$.$ Instead, critique the video using information from this chapter: $$ Does the presenter capture audience's attention?$$ If so$,$ how? $$ How successful is the presenter's introduction $($gets audience involved, identifies self and credibility, preview main points$)?$ Does the presenter make eye contact?$$ If so$,$ how often? $$ Does the presenter move around?$$ If so$,$ how much and how do they move? $$ Does the presenter vary the volume and pitch of their voice as they talk?$$ If so$,$ how do they do this? $$ Does the presenter vary their facial expressions?$$ If so$,$ how often and how does the facial expressions change? $$ Does the presenter ask questions? $$ What sort of visuals are presented $($if any are presented$)?$ How clear and easy to understand are they? $$ Does the presenter summarize main points in the conclusion? $$ Does the presenter thank the audience? $$ Does the presenter have a Q & A$?$ If so$,$ how well do they run it$?$ Overall, how successful do you feel the presenter was with their presentation?$$ What did they do well?$$ What could they improve on$?$ Type this up in Times New Roman, $12$ point font, double spaced, with your name at the top.$$ Write in paragraphs, not in a list.$$ Do not include the questions with your responses.
