Good day,

I hope you are doing well.

I am currently busy studying, and I am experiencing some struggles with the following questions.

It would me much appreciated if you could assist me in explaining these questions below.

Please note that I would like explanations and calculations on these specific questions.

Please note:

I would appreciate it if you could give attention the following specific aspects:

- at Q14 and Q16: could you please thoroughly explain to me how we find unknow variables in these calculations.

- at Q15: I am struggling to formulate the null and alternative hypothesis, and the rejections rules, as well as determining alpha, I would greatly appreciate it if you could fully explain the whole hypothesis testing process.

- at Q17: in the beginning they say that the test marks of 29 student produced those values, but then they ask for the limits if a 99% confidence interval is set up for the population standard deviation for the population of 1700 registered students. I don't quite understand which value should be used as the sample size (29/1700).

At the questions that are about hypothesis testing, could you also explain thoroughly explain how the null and alternative hypothesis are determined.

Your assistance and guidance will be greatly appreciated :)

I look forward to your reply.

Kind regards.
