Good discussion on "gigs" thus far! Another trend with these jobs is that we saw an increase during the pandemic in the number of Americans working past the traditional retirement age. This trend began even before COVID. Researchers in TD Ameritrade's 2019 Unretirement Survey, found that most older workers "plan to work 20 hours per week or more" after they've officially retired.
