            Variable Overheads (2hrs @ GHS1.00 per hour)       2.00

            Fixed Overheads (2hrs @ GHS0.50 per hour)                        1.00

            Total cost per unit                                                       8.00

The budget on which the above standard is based if for the production and sales of 2000 toys per year to be sold for GHS12.00 each.

The actual results for the year ended 31st December 2019 were as follows:

2,200 toys were produced and 2,100 were sold for GHS13.00 each.
