Goodman was a cook and caterer and was employed by McKinley to run a lunch counter in Bay City, Michigan, for the period June 15th the following September 1, after working one month, Goodman-was discharged by McKinley because McKinley found he could hire someone else for less. Goodman there-after sought diligently for employment elsewhere as a cook or caterer but was unable to find employment in this capacity until the following September 15. During the period July t5 to September l, Goodman did not seek employment in any other capacity than as a cook or caterer, although if she had done so she could have found a job as a scrubwoman in a hospital. Goodman sued McKinley the damages for the period of her unemployment (July 15 to September l). What, if anything, can she recover?
