Gordy Ramsbottom has decided to buy the Salmonella Hotel in the centre of Edinburgh which is very popular and very highly regarded as a wonderful place to stay. He buys the Hotel and inserts a clause within the purchase contract that states:

'The sellers of this business shall not open another hotel business within the whole of the UK for the next 10years'

One month after Gordy Ramsbottom takes over the Salmonella Hotel he is shocked to discover that the seller of his new business has set up another hotel within 1 mile of the Salmonella Hotel. He is now very worried that his clients will choose the other hotel.

As the week progresses things get even worse for Gordy Ramsbottom, he now discovers that the seller Jimmy Olive has now been diagnosed with a severe mental health condition which is affecting his general ability to understand what he is signing and has now been appointed a Guardian in terms of the Adults with Incapacity (Scotland) Act 2000
