Graduate Research Academy Center Excellence (GRACE) is a graduate study research department. You have been engaged in a summer research program to develop a database system for GRACE. GRACE has initially identified the following entities and attributes for data management. 

 

STUDENT: student ID, name, email address, gender, major 

FACULTY: faculty ID, name, age, status (PART TIME or FULL TIME) 

COURSE: course name, credit, prerequisite 

 

GRACE has also clarified following business rules: 

 

I) Couse can have one or more sections. Each course section is unique by its name, e.g., F2023A (Fall 2023 A), F2023B (Fall 2023 B), F2023C (Fall 2023 C) etc. 

II) The course can have multiple sections in each semester term 

III) Same course can be taught by multiple faculties 

IV) Faculties can teach same course for multiple sections 

V) Students can take multiple sections of different courses 

VI) The course may have one or more prerequisite courses

VII) GRACE intends to record students letter grade (A+, A, B+, B, C, F) for each section that student takes. 

 

Using Oracle Data Modeler, need a logical data model satisfying business rules as above.  Identify proper datatypes, domain constraints,  and relationships.
