Grant opportunities can be found from federal and state agencies as well as foundations (such as the well-known Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, but there are 100s of others). There are numerous resources to find grant opportunitiesa simple Google search for "grants for . . . " (whatever you wish to fund, or by naming the type of organization you represent) is often useful, or you can go to sources such as grants.gov. (Review last week's materials for more information about grant prospecting if you are interested; we do not have enough time to really dig into prospecting this semester, unfortunately).

This assignment is designed to provide you with a brief introduction into the type of information provided in a RFP,as well as the information required to submit a grant proposal. You have read four RFPs this week:
