Great summary of the different types of control and power balance. On one hand, it is not ideal for a small group to completely control the larger group. However realistically a group that is too large will need a leader to help manage the different opinions, personalities, and overall direction of the group. What happens often is when the small group of leaders don't listen to the group they represent. Perhaps listening to their body is the first step to balancing power.
