Greg, a16-year-oldwhite male, was driving home at 1:00 a.m.on a Thursdaymorningafter getting off work at aDomino'spizza.Police pulled him over for speeding at 45 mph in a40-mphzone.The officer claimed he smelled alcohol on Greg's breath and asked him to step out of the car. The officer asked Greg if he couldlookin the car, but Greg did not answer. The officer searched the carand found a small bag of marijuana.The officer did not find any alcohol in the car, and a blood test indicated that Greg had no alcohol in his system.Greg was arrested andcharged with possession ofmarijuana.

My question here would be if this whole stop was legitimate and the arrest is legal, was there probable cause?
