You have previously been a model employee and team leader, however this past year you find that work has lost its challenge: team and professional goals are set too low, you disagree with an expensive change in procedures that makes much of your job redundant, you feel uneasy giving direction to the team you supervise since there you disagree with the changes that have been made and so do they. You know you can make a difference, but feel your input isn't taken as seriously as it once was. Coming to work these days is a real struggle. 1. Come up with 2-3 reasons for the change in your work habits 2. Decide what you want to change in order to get back to being a contributing team member a) Do you want to be a contributing member? 3. End the meeting by setting several goals (Use the criteria for goals) * Remember: you have some big issues with the changes that have been made - how will you express those to your supervisor?
