Objectives:
Design a medium sized business network in Packet Tracer with the following requirements:
The topology should have atleast 2 branches, with a minimum of 2 departments in each
branch. (Sample topology is given below)
Design IP addressing scheme using subnetting / VLSM.
For each department :
Configure VLANs and Inter VLAN Routing.
Configure loop free redundant network with more bandwidth using STP and Etherchannel.
Configure the router to provide DHCP services to the end devices in the network
Configure wireless LAN with WPA2 authentication
Configure a secure LAN network to mitigate all types of layer 2 attacks
Configure static route between branches and default route to ISP.
Verify your network connectivity between the branches. All end devices should be able to
ping each other.
(Notes: Minimum of 2 and maximum of 3 students per group. Students should submit IP
address table (including subnetting / VLSM), VLAN table, topology in packet tracer with
complete configuration. Questions regarding design and other requirements implemented
needs be asked to each individual student and the group. Total marks -15)
