This is a group project which weight 20% of your final score. It will address following steps:

Step 1: Identification of the Broad Problem Area & Choosing the Research Topic, Research Objectives, Research Questions

Step2: Identification of variables/factors & Development of Theoretical Framework, Hypotheses Development, Research Design , Questionnaire Development .

Step 3: Highlight statistical relationships between variables in data sets and to predict values of strategic variables using regression and correlation analysis.

Step 4: Discuss your statistical findings

Step 5: Using sample information, apply the scientific process to arrive at probable conclusions about population values.

General Description

The assessment is intended to give you a full experience of doing research using the statistical methodology learn in Management Statistics. You will work in a team of three members to address some questions that interest your group. Firstly, you will discuss with other team member to choose a topic, then decide how to collect data and do analysis, and finally draw conclusions from your analysis.

The project including three parts:

  • Part A: Research Topic, Questionnaire and data collection, Descriptive statistics
  • Part B: Inferential statistic

(Part A & Part B 10 %)

  • Part C: Team Presentation (5%)
