As utility company supervisor you have been monitoring the voltage fluctuations from various

supply grid locations via the remote sensors. In the past, the mean supply grid voltage was 130

V with some noticeable degree of fluctuations (Standard Deviation= 30V) where the target

voltage for the household loads should lie between 100-140 V. The utility company has

recently switched to a new sophisticated electricity service provider which claims that voltage

fluctuations would be reduced.
