Gulliver goes to the land of Lilliput and encounters people that are six inches. He is held captive by these people and also used by these people as a war machine. Gulliver despite his size, runs for his life.

Gulliver was much bigger in size, but still, he was listening to Lilliputians. So why did he listen to the Lilliputians without fighting back? 

Just like England (Lilliputian) is a small country but has ruled the whole world. Even the whole world was a powerful state. There's a similarity that, Gulliver was very big and Lilliputians were so small. But Gulliver was listening to Lilliputians. So here we can find similarities between Britain's colonial past and the relationship between Gulliver and Lilliputians.

How did Lilliputians get so much courage to conspire against Gulliver? 

Powerful countries always try to control small countries. They try to use those countries whenever they realize they are 'quiet' or 'listening to them'. All these behaviors also exist among Lilliputians.
