Having done an amazing job recommending a hedging strategy to manage the risk associated with the large customer transaction in Brazil, you have now been promoted to Vice President of Finance for Microsoft Corporation.  Your first assignment in your new role is to figure out the best way for your US-based company to raise money for global expansion into Brazil.  Should it issue debt (US or in Brazil), more equity or perhaps something different?
