having trouble setting up the problem can you help

My Hypothesis is on a bar owner's claim that customer's orders more burgers than chicken sandwiches. Given a sample of 40 customers and the bar owner's belief that over 50% of the customers orders burgers over chickens sandwiches. How would I describe the variable tested, and what would be my guess of the value of that variable. Then include how the if the null were rejected or not
