Health Department Technology Many Americans have benefited from the use of technology in healthcare. Furthermore, technology has become a fundamental part of healthcare care and daily operations. As a result of the improved operational efficiency of technology, human errors have been reduced, clinical outcomes improved, care coordination has been facilitated, and practice efficiencies improved. Health professionals have been able to track data over time. Healthcare professionals and patients are enjoying the benefits of technology, which has improved the overall experience. My city's local health department's operations directors would implement Telemedicine and Electronic Medical Records as some technologies. Implementing electronic medical records for our community will ensure that our healthcare professionals provide accurate and consistent care. The information we store will address the needs of a considerable population, requiring that patient data be treated safely. Providing community service also means access to official records and onsite outreach programs. By utilizing electronic medical records, our department will also be able to analyze population data. In examining these comprehensive health data, we can predict health trends, identify needs, and draft proposals for new health care programs
