Identify three different models of health service delivery firms. Consider large, tertiary care hospitals with multiple specialties. This would be a Solution Shop. Can you construct a scenario wherein this hospital would benefit from either taking over (acquiring) or partnering with a Facilitated Network? To answer this question, you need to do two things: First, explain what kind of a facilitated network it is - what health care- related services are enabled by the network. Then, explain precisely how the hospital will benefit from such a network; what could the hospital get that it would not be able to do in-house?
