Additionally, these facilities are promoting their own websites to reach their demographic and attract new patients. This type of marketing plays a significant role in attracting patients to a healthcare facility because individuals can make decisions based on advertisement, a news article, or reviews from current patients. I do believe this type of marketing influences everyone, myself included. Two alternative innovative ways that healthcare services can be marketed to the public would be partnerships made within the community and virtual reality technology. Collaboration with the local community and it's well known organizations will help a healthcare facility reach a larger audience, while building trust in the community. Using virtual reality technology can help a facility stand out by providing a virtual tour of the healthcare facility to potential patients and allow them to see different healthcare services offered. Patients will be more comfortable when making a decision on their healthcare needs. Characteristics to consider when targeting a specific population age, different health concerns (e.g. chronic conditions, mental health, etc.), and accessibility. Understanding these different characteristics will help a healthcare facility customize their marketing strategies effectively
