Healthcare leaders must understand the basic objectives of their role in the execution of management functions. They must understand management concepts that are essential to the organization within which the functions of the manager are performed. They must also be able to recognize that ongoing training and development is an essential part of their growth and success as leaders. Lastly, they must be able to provide sufficient detail to guide the practitioners and other key healthcare personnel with the ability to plan and control their budgets, training, and personnel concerns.

For the final project, you will examine the managerial style and influence that exists in order to better understand the overall operations of the organization, the direction of the organization, and how the organization is influenced by leadership.
