Heat Exchanger Design
A shell and tube Heat Exchanger is to be designed to sub-cool condensate from a methanol condenser from 95C to 40C. Flowrate of methanol is 100000kgh. Brackish water will be used as the coolant with a temperature rise from 25C to 40C. A pressure
drop of 0.8bar is permissible on both streams. Allowance should be made for fouling by including a fouling heat transfer coefficient for methanol as 5000Wm2@C and 3000Wm2@C on the brackish water stream. Thermal conductivity of cupro nickel alloys is 50WmC.

Make suitable assumptions. And design both cases - With Fin & Without fin.
