Hello, can you teach me how to solve this problem by providing a response to each part of the problem by using physics concepts or formulas? Please also provide all math/formula/conceptual steps so that I can check my own work. This question involves Physics Conversions, Center of Mass, Conservation of Energy, Potential Energy, Kinetic energy, Work-energy Theorem, etc.

Bumper cars Given Information: A father and son are riding bumper cars at the amusement park. The father's car is heavy (180 kg) and slow (1.0 m/s). The sun's car is light (120 kg) and fast (4.5111/s). The son chases the father and collides with him from behind, where both cars are initially going in the same direction at their respective full speeds. Practice Prompt: (a) Calculate the velocity of the ccnter-ofmass (CM) of the system. (b) Switch reference frames from the amusement park's reference frame (where you are standing still) to a reference frame moving at the velocity of the center of mass. This is also called the center-ofmomentum frame. Calculate the velocity of each car right before the collision in the centerof-n'lonlentlln1 reference frame. This is the velocity each car would appear to have if you were running along side them with {Tc-M. (c) What is the velocity of each car after the collision in the CM frame? Model it as an elastic collision because the rubber bumper conserves kinetic energy. ((1) What is the nal velocity of each car in the reference frame of people standing on the ground? (c) How can you check that you got the right answer? (f) Model the rubber bumper as a spring with a spring constant of k = lllN/m. Use the center-of-Inass frame to calculate the maximum compression of the "spring."
