Hello class, I am Chynna Bracey, and excited to start my MBA. I currently work for an organization as a Budget Analyst; my main duties are to adhere to institutional policies and procedures as we request funding from federal sponsors. I also manage several PI's grants to ensure they spend them correctly. This position has a few challenges since there are so many variables that you cannot control, so I always plan for if I do encounter a situation. I have been doing this work for almost four years and truly enjoy it. I live in Calvert County, and it is tranquil, which I can appreciate while raising small children. I obtained my BA in Business with a Program management certificate in December 2022. I always knew that I wanted to be able to maximize my degree and go for my MBA, so I am excited to start. What separates me from others is my drive and eagerness to win, I have balanced being a full-time employee, full-time student, and parent, so I know the challenges that came with them.
