Hello, Could you please help me respond to this discussion post with 1-2 references?
The process of organizing and facilitating communication activities within the project team that have an impact on the quality, quantity, and effectiveness of deliverables is referred to as project communications management (or simply project management). The identification of key project stakeholders, strategic objectives, activity matrices, evaluation processes, and follow-up plans
should all be included in the communication management plan for a project. The process of identifying communication requirements and then checking to see that those requirements are addressed in the communications plan is the primary step in the management of project communication. The video demonstrates that only a subset of the requirements was analyzed and taken into account in the planning process. The way the meeting went with NASA in the Challenger: The Untold Story seemed like they understood the probability of this launch that led to its failure. It was poor judgment on NASAs part. Engineers should have fought to the very end to not launch. It is not the case that the project communication management fails because project communications are not effectively managed. The management of communication within a project is an essential component of all activities and procedures. Due to the outcome of the launch people blamed management for their decisions and later strength individual ethics and safety.
