I have an exercise in python

I have to write a function that emulate the linspace of numpy, while using loops commands (such as: while, for, etc). So my function should be like this:

def my_linspace(start, stop, n): return result

and as a result I have to take a numerical order (a numerical sequence) (for instance [0,0.5,1,1.5,2])

Some help please...
