Hello everyone! My name is Julie, and I work remotely for Walmart's Home office in Jacksonville, Florida. I recently took a promotion as an analyst for project management and have been a part of Walmart and Walmart affiliates for three years. I plan to pursue a career in project management as a short-term goal, but I aspire to become a research and development specialist later in my career. Something fun and unusual about me is that I have recently purchased a small library worth of books, and I am now obligated to read them all to justify the money I have spent on them. The good news is that I have found a lot of joy in reading lately, so the task ahead is exciting and daunting. After reviewing the syllabus and exploring the course, I am excited to learn more about the different forms of communication, how they have changed over time, and how to best utilize them in a world rampant with multiple facets of correspondence
