Hello I am doing an assignment which requires to find the 12 ratios of Finance. I have a question in reguards to finding Earnings per share.

For calculating earnings per share I'm given the following formula,

Net income / Basic weighted average outstanding shares

My question,

Because I am using Basic weighted outstanding shares, do i need to use a different measurement of net income?

Net Income / Basic weighted outstanding shares
