Hello!
I am trying to complete this question for my class.
I am looking at the SEC10K for Amazon and I'm supposed to find the following. What I have so far is this, but I'm stuck on #2 (items of significance). I have them all listed but I'm pretty sure that's not right.
1. Net income versus total for operating activities: report these values.
2015 2014
Net Income $596 $(241)
Operating Activities $11,920 $6,842
(in millions) 2. Items of significance between net income and total for operating activities?
Adjustments to Reconcile Net Income (loss) to Net Cash from Operating Activities:
Depreciation of property and equipment
Stock-based compensation
Other operating expense (income), net
Losses (gains) on sales of marketable securities, net
Deferred income taxes
Excess tax benefits from stock-based compensation
For Changes in Operating Assets and Liabilities:
Inventories Accounts receivable
Accounts payable
Accrued expenses and other
Additions to unearned revenue
Amortization of previously unearned revenue
3. Is the business providing cash flow from operations?
Category: Investing and Financing Activities
Can I get a little help with #2? I think #3 is just posting the number again, yes?
Thank you.
