Hello,

I am working on fake initiative for the arizona constitution in regards to education. I would like to propose that the per student funding be increased as arizona has one of the lowest in the country. This increase in funding would go towards putting a paraprofessional in every classroom. As class sizes are growing and the number of teachers are decreasing, a attainable solution could be putting two adults in every room. If it is a teacher and a para, paras are paid at a rate much lower than teachers are. My question is though how would more money per student be increased? Is that through state taxes? taxing a specific class? or would that come from getting a larger allotment from the state for education?
