Hello, I have a data set that contains 2 categorical variables and 3 quantitative variables that I have to use Excel formulas to get the following information. The categorical variables are different races and the genders for each race. The quantitative variables are the numbers of the number of employees in each race for the 2 genders that are in executive positions, middle management, and regular workers in a company. I am confused about what formulas I would use to get that information. I don't think the data set is necessarily needed for this question because I would just like an explanation of the Excel formulas that will be used:
Confidence Intervals, which will estimate the following (choose your own confidence level):
a. The mean of a quantitative variable. (7.1)
b. The difference of means among two populations. (7.2)
c. The proportion of a categorical variable. (8.1)
