Hello, I need help with this part of my work regarding leadership course as there is too much on my plate, seeking help here. Self-Assessment Activity
Understanding how Leadership impacts us is an important first step in deepening our understanding and knowledge of Leadership. For this activity, you will create. a table similar to the sample table below. Within this table, include the following:
- Write down the names of three (3) people who have significantly impacted you and explain the role they play in your life.
- For each name, identify a total of three to five (3 - 5) attributes (i.e., skills, traits, qualities, and/or approaches) that they demonstrated that had a positive impact on you (e.g., good communicator, friendly, patient).
- Review the list and determine whether the actions were predominantly management-? oriented in nature or leadership-?oriented (i.e., identify with an 'M' or 'L'). Here, think back to the leader-?manager discussion in week 1 and to the readings and discussion of managers vs. Leaders.
- Focus on those that you identified as predominantly Leadership attributes ('L').
- Beside each of your noted Leadership attributes, identify whether each Leadership attribute was more predominantly related to his or her: (a) 'Head' (e.g., knowledge, etc.); (b) 'Heart' (e.g., relationship with you, respectfulness, ability to empower or motivate, etc.); or (c) 'Hands' (e.g., action, approach, behaviour, etc.).
