Leadership Styles:

1. Participative leadership. They promote candid dialogue, include all team members in decision making, and respect individual perspectives

2.Transformational leadership vs servant. These leaders push their teams beyond their comfort zones and help them accomplish goals they never thought attainable. They advocate for an inspiring idea and typically lead by example.

-It appeals to the higher need of an individual in the Maslow's hierarchy of needs, which is self-actualization. People rise higher through positive motivation than negative motivation (embrace challenge)

Some Western leaders follow the servant leadership model, which puts team members' needs and growth ahead of their own. They consider themselves to be in the team's service rather than its opposite.
