Hello, I'm taking Intro to Computer Systems at Champlain College (CMIT 135). I've seen the answer from one of the uploaded documents but I want to know which equation I would need to use to have gotten that answer because I'm unsure. The answer reads as:

A standard computer DVD holds approximately 5 billion characters. Estimate how many linear feet of shelf space would be required to house 5 billion characters encoded as printed bound books rather than electronic media. Assume there are 5 characters per word, 300 words per page, and 300 pages per inch of shelf.

The answer is 926 but again, I don't know which formula would be used to find the answer. Thanks..
