Hello,

Im trying to discern what statistical test would be best for my variables.

My variables are an age scale that collected participant ages by them typing in a number: example - 33yrs.

My other variable is a trust of police perception scale based on 13 questions that are a 7-point Likert scale. Strongly agree to Strongly disagree.

I believe it could be a spearmen's correlation test as my age variable is not normally distributed and my perceptions are ordinal data it being a Likert Scale. Is this correct?
