Only need help on SECTION 3,4 and 5 please. Below is my project that I have worked on but need help in creating a data statistical summary, and inferences.

Section 1: Introduction. For example, you can discuss:

- What is your research question?

What are some of the economic and national security implications of cargo theft?

- What is your motivation?

Modern technology has allowed for fast and convenient movement of goods from place to place thus enhancing local and international trade. However, terrorists and malicious individuals can curtail progress in the supply chain sector due to sabotage of goods while intransit.

- Why do you care about this question?

Personally, cargo theft has affected my trust in online shopping after the loss of packages delivered at my doorstep.

- Why should others care about this question?

Others should care about this question because it affects their safety and economic well being. Ideally, terrorist can steal weapons during transportations while businesses and individuals can lose their property.

Section 2: Data Description. You may include one ore more of followings:

- Data sources.

The data on cargo theft is obtained from the Uniform Crime Reporting website of the Federal Bureau of Investigations.

Type of property stolen

Number of property stolen and recovered

String- eg type of property stolen Aircraft parts

Floating point number- eg percent of property value recovered 2.8%

Section 3: Data Summary. You may include one or more of followings:

- Mean, median, standard deviation, etc.

- Histogram, boxplot, scatterplot, qq-plot, etc.

- Or any other summary statistics or visualizations you think is appropriate.

Section 4: Inferences. Based on your research question, you may do one or more of followings:

- Hypothesis testing

Is there sufficient evidence to show that cargo theft has increased in recent times, has an impact on national security or affects the economy significantly. Note the above represent three possible hypotheses which could be statistically tested

-Confidence Interval

- Simple linear regression

- Multiple linear regression with variable selection.

Section 5: Conclusion.

Write a brief summary of your findings. Are the data analysis results support your hypothesis? You may find that the methods we covered in this class are inadequate for your goal. Thus, you could also talk about possible future works.
