Hello, please help me. Urgent. Saoirse is a first year law student at University of York. As she lives nearby, she usually walks up the road to a pedestrian crossing at a four-way junction opposite the college. One evening before class, it starts to rain heavily and she hears a yellow weather warning on BBC about a storm approaching. Since college is nearby, she decides to walk nevertheless. By the time she gets to the pedestrian crossing it is pelting rain, there are forceful gusts of wind and it is quite dark, she also notices that the street lights are unusually dim. She looks left and right and when it seems clear, begins to walk across the road. Then suddenly, seemingly out of nowhere, a speeding ambulance sharply turns the corner towards her at the crossing, there are no sirens but flashing blue lights. She narrowly escapes a head-on collision with the vehicle, but the front left side of the vehicle hits her right leg and she is thrown to the ground. She sustains a major injury, the bruising, swelling and tenderness renders her unable to walk and she passes out from the shock and pain. She wakes up in hospital the next day and the doctor tells her that she will have to be in a cast for 6 months and will require extensive physiotherapy to regain her full walking ability again.

Advise Saoirse as to any claim she might have against the ambulance, specifically with regard to and critical analysis of the principles of Tort as they relate to duty of care. (Case law, articles,etc)
