Power Distance is a term which refers to the degree in which members of a society accept an unequal distribution of power.

• Authoritative: High degree of control, warmth, acceptance, encouragement for autonomy.
• Authoritarian: Highly controlling, little warmth, concern.
• Permissive: Great deal of warmth, exercise little control, few or no restraints.
• Indifferent: No limits, affection, concern or approval.

My question is could the above be more beneficial or problematic in the workplace?
