Below you will find a question that was given and a response from a fellow classmate. What I need is a short 3-4 sentence responding to the initial question from my peer.

Question:

Why is it important to possess knowledge regarding issues pertaining to cultural awareness and sensitivity? Do you believe that more professionals need training on this subject matter?

Fellow classmate response:

Culture awareness and sensitivity is an issue I feel professionals do need more training on. When everyone come from different backgrounds its an understandable matter when you and someone else don't view things the same. You may not be on the same page but I feel it should be respected on how someone feels. It is important because to get respect you must give respect. If you lack the knowledge of culture awareness and sensitivity how will you be able to get to know the people you work with. Gain knowledge from someone that come from a different place then you. You may learn something interesting that you didn't know about. Imagine being a boss and you don't care about your employees sensitivity. That can lead to depression, someone who don't want to come to work, disrespect, etc.
