A cross border alliance is a strategic alliance where some resources and capabilities of the organizations having their headquarters in different countries are shared. This strategy is also undertaken to create competitive advantage like all others.

Question: If available, would you consider a cross-border strategic alliance as an international strategy? Explain why or why not. What are the cross-border strategic alliance benefits and risks?
