0 THIS OPTIONAL EXTRA-CREDIT QUESTION IS A CONTINUATION OF THE PREVIOUS PROBLEM. YOUR HANDWRITTEN ANSWER IS DUE IN CLASS WITH YOUR GFS PROBLEM. Suppose an identical hill with the same angle 8 were built on a planet that has an Earth-like atmosphere but a different acceleration due to gravity, g. If this hill were covered in the same artificial snow, could the same skier with the same equipment be held motionless by friction as she waits her turn to ski downhill? What about another skier whose mass is different? Explain your answer. Hint: using the FBD of the skier as your point of reference, write the complete Second Law equations in the x and y directions, and then solve for the coefficient of friction.
