Help me answer the following:

My project title is "Understanding the long-term effects of Social Media use on mental health uncovered dataset".

1. could you please help me find a dataset related to my topic and help me answer the following questions:

Update your Methods section (particularly the Data subsection).

Detail any processing steps used for the data

Cleaning steps (e.g.cleaning text data, transforming variables) should go in Data Analytic Plan subsection

Include summary statistics and concrete details about the data

From my project proposal, this is what i have in my method section. However as seen above, my method below needs to be updated.

This is my method section that needs to be updated (after finding a dataset).

Methods

The purpose of this study is to understand the long-term effects of social media use on mental health. The study will be quantitative in nature and will use survey methodology to collect data. We aim to explore the relationships between social media use, depression, anxiety, social isolation, mental well-being, and self-esteem. In this study, we will test three hypotheses to understand the relationship between social media use and mental health outcomes.

The first hypothesis suggests that regular and excessive use of social media is positively associated with symptoms of depression, anxiety, and social isolation. The second hypothesis states that social media use is negatively correlated with mental well-being and self-esteem. The third hypothesis posits that the frequency and type of social media use have a significant impact on mental health outcomes, with passive social media use being more harmful than active use. To test these hypotheses, we will collect data from a diverse sample of social media users through an online survey. The survey will measure social media use, depression, anxiety, social isolation, mental well-being, and self-esteem using validated scales. The data will be analyzed using statistical methods to explore the relationships between social media use and mental health outcomes.

This study is important because social media use has become ubiquitous in modern society, and its effects on mental health are still poorly understood. By investigating the long-term effects of social media use on mental health, this study aims to provide insights that can inform interventions to mitigate the negative impacts of social media on mental health. Overall, this study is quantitative in nature, and it will use survey methodology to collect data from social media users to test three hypotheses about the relationships between social media use and mental health outcomes. The following sections will describe the methods in more detail.
