Help Me Bro! is an application that helps students to solve a real problem; they have little time for daily tasks such as cooking, cleaning, laundry or shopping. The diffusion of this problem emerges from a study we conducted on a sample of 52 international students, from 18 to 30 years old, who answered to some questions about their habits. Only the 26% of students affirmed they have enough time to do these daily tasks; in the other hand 74% say that the university takes up a lot of their time, so they have little time available for cooking, cleaning, laundry or shopping. The most part of them would like help with these chores, but at the same time students don't have much money to pay other people. So Help Me Bro! it's the solution. This application is created by students for students and aims to make their lives easier. HMB provides a space where the users can post a on offer, introducing the type of services that's needed, a basic description and necessary information, and a price. Also, the users will be able to see the job offers that are posted, and select the one that is more interesting for them. The application uses geolocation to show the nearest and quickest to reach ads, to make connections easier. This mechanism allows, on the one hand, to help students who have little time and little money, but on the other hand, it also helps students who want to work and earn something quickly and easily. In addition to requests regarding daily household chores, students will also have the possibility of being able to exchange extra-tutoring services, which according to our market study appear to be in great demand together with cooking, laundry and shopping. To date, there are no applications that provide the same possibilities as Help Me Bro!, for example "Fiverr" is an application that allows the exchange of services between people, but in this case it does not ensure the same payment system characterized by prices low and fast exchanges like HMB, because the users are people who represent various targets, with different characteristics. Our application, on the other hand, has a specific reference segment: university students. Everything is adapted to their needs, from low prices, to the convenience, speed and ease of exchanging services, as well as giving them the opportunity to meet people. Specifically our segment of customers in the market is represented by From 18 to 30 years old; Both living alone or with their parents,; Students that need a service related to the student-life. In fact the app will be useful, in addition to daily tasks and the possibility to work easily, to get access to discounts in supermarkets and other shops or services used by university students. It will be possible thanks to partnership with brands such as Continente, Froiz or Mercadona; in this way the brands will get closer to a young target, and the students will be facilitated in terms of expenses. This is also a solution to keep the people that already subscribed and to get new users. The incomes of the application instead will derive from three main sources: paid subscription plans, advertising in the app and the sale of user data. The main values of Help Me Bro! are : Solve daily problems students must face; Helping students to connect with other students for the exchange of services; Focused on students, offering low price services; Encourage people to meet and help each other. The key activities of the business is to create a space to sell, buy and exchange services; these services are: cooking, shopping, cleaning, laundry and extra tutoring. The application will initially focus on Portugal, subsequently extending its promotion internationally. As our main goal for the beginning of the business we expect to have 30.000 download for the first year.
