A Read alot Q1: CLO2, PLO2, C3 Attached is the data for AGE (Y) and Height (X) of 150 children from the CD of the book Fundamentals of Biostatistics by Rosner (2015). The average age is 7.44 and average height is 56.91 whereas variation in variable AGE is 2.10 and variation in variable Height is 18.62. The covariation between both variables 13.32. Use the concept of measure of central tendency and measure of dispersion to solve the following parts: a) Suppose a constant 5 is added to each observation of the variable AGE and a constant 2.2 is added to each observation in variable Height. What would be new mean and variance of both variables? (2.5) b) Suppose a constant 2 is multiplied to each observation of the variable AGE and a constant 1.2 is multiplied to each observation in variable Height. What would be new mean and variance of both variables? (2.5) c) Suppose each observation in both variables increased by 10%, what would be the effect on mean and variance of both variables 02- CLO) PLO? (3
