1. I do agree that the government should issue laws, regulations, etc for what's best for society. I believe that the CSR model, the corporate social model, is a great way to hold companies accountable for their actions. This model promotes a positive morality and can give back to society. The environmental policy is also good because it will reduce pollution, waste, and lower emission levels. Their ethical responsibility is also great because it creates fair and high standards within the company. No matter the age, race, sex, or culture, everyone is treated equally. I do believe that this could be difficult without the government intervening. This is also what's best for society. One of the most important is the Philanthropic responsibility, which challenges the company on how they can improve society. Whether it is fundraising, donating to charity, or just making the world a better place, this is another reason how the government can improve society.
2. I think that they should divest themselves from fossil fuel investments because it has been shown that fossil fuel has been raising emissions and creates air pollution. This can harm our environment and it makes sense to end fossil fuel projects in order to protect our atmosphere.
