5. The following information is the sales projection of Syarikat Lampu Berhad for the next six months. These sales are credit sales. January 2012 RM60,000 February 2012 RM66,000 March 2012 RM55,000 April 2012 RM64,000 May 2012 RM72,000 June 2012 RM74,000 Sales in November 2011 and December 2011 were RM63,000 and RM62,000 respectively. Previous trend has indicated that 10 percent are uncollectible, 40 percent are collected in the month of sales, 30 percent are collected in the next month, and 20 percent are collected two month after a sale is made. As an account executive you are asked to prepare a monthly cash receipts schedule for the firm for January 2012 through June 2012. What is the amount of sale that will not be collected at the end of June 2012? 6.
