Topic 7 - Energy You are going to create your own test for Topic 7 Energy. For each item below, you are going to create the word problem (1 point), provide the correct answer (1 point) and show all work required to answer the problem in step by step format (3 points). Correct units are a MUST for all parts! Your questions, work and answers should be in the format of the Mimio/power point used in class. You may use your note card, your notes, the homework and the power point to create your test. You many NOT use any other websites or resources. If your question is considered too easy, you will receive no credit. If your question is considered too hard, you will receive half credit. 1. Create a question dealing with average pressure (P). You must use the formula P=F/A. You can find examples of this type of question on slides 10 & 12 of the power point. 2. Create a question dealing with Heat (Q). You must use the formula Q=mCAT. Make sure you provide the specific heat (C) of the material you select. You can get C from the table on slide 52. You can find an example of this type of question on slides 56, 57 & 59 of the power point. 3. Create a question where you must find the specific heat (C) of an unknown substance. You must use the formula C = M BLB You can find examples of this type of question on slides 66-68 of the power MATA point. 4. Create a question dealing with Work (W) while using the Ist Law of Thermodynamics. You must use the formula A U = Q-W. You can find an example of this type of question on slide 75 of the power point. 5. Create a two part question that requires you to find the Kinetic Energy (KE) of an object and the velocity of an object. You must use the formula KE = mv . You can find examples of this type of question on slides 2 87-88 & 129 of the power point. 6. Create a question where you must find the Gravitational Potential Energy (GPE) of an object. You must use the formula GPE=mgh. You can find an example of this type of question on slides 105-106 of the power point. 7. Create a question that requires you to find the amount of Work (W) being done. For this question, there should NOT be an angle. It can be either horizontal or vertical. You must use the formula W=Fd cost. You can find an example of this type of question on slides 163-164 of the power point. 8. Create a question that requires you to find the amount of Work (W) being done. For this question, there SHOULD be an angle. It can NOT be either horizontal or vertical. You must use the formula W=Fd cost. You can find an example of this type of question on slide 167 of the power point
