help with a project schedule in MS Project for a simple 24' x 30' exterior garage, slab on grade with one garage door, one entry door, and two windows. No HVAC. Wired for 110 and 220 volts. The slab on grade is already completed and all materials have been delivered to the site. There is no plumbing, insulation, or drywall. Feel free to be creative on any other design elements. You must determine all activities and sequence of those activities. The start date will be the first working day of April next year. You must finish within 90 days and will not work on Weekends or Holidays. You must have at least one non-working weekday in your schedule for maintenance. Modify your project #1 to add an upgrade that includes running a 50' water line to your garage and add a 6' x 6' bathroom with one sink and one toilet to your garage, and running a 10' sewer line. Connect to a sewage line and add insulation to the ceiling and walls and cover all with drywall. Add resources (Labor, Equipment, and Material) to ALL activities. For resource purposes, use the following:

  • Backhoe rate is $300/Hr (includes gas)
  • All Labor (carpenter, electrician, plumber, equipment operator, etc.) is $50/hour
  • All plumbing material is $3500 total
  • All electrical material is $1500 total
  • All framing, insulation, and drywall material is $5000 total

This work will start the first working day of September of next year. You must finish within 30 days and will not work on Weekends or Holidays. You must identify a lead and/or a lag between two activities. You must have at least one non-working weekday in your schedule for maintenance. You must level labor resources to no more than four workers per day.
